Beginning of the end for TVNZ Breakfast Show

Pippa Wetzell is a nice person, so am I, but Pippa really doesn't have the personality to carry the TVNZ Breakfast show.

Paul Henry did.

Of course he quit yesterday after his TVNZ bosses failed to back their employee over a barrage of nonsense from the sniveling wet, left wing media who were after Henry's head on a plate, after harmless comments made by the media star on air last week. The Herald and others in the mainstream media also went after Paul's elderly mother.

He even gave a full apology to placate the snivelers.

Paul had no choice but quit. He would have been censored by TVNZ if he returned and clearly he did the principled thing by walking. This way his personality is left intact and he will be able to move onto something else in the media if he choses to and if anyone else is brave and bright enough to hire him.

Henry gave the Breakfast show viewers, Pippa Wetzell will not.

He had a strong personality and was loved by most, even managing to put the nail in the coffin of its TV3 competitor Sunrise because they couldn't compete with a similarly bland offering.

The TVNZ show is going to plummet in viewership and surely cant survive now without massive input from taxpayer dollars.

The Henry saga really is a sad state of our way of life today. It is wider than just some guy on the box. It shows that the vocal, rabid left minority can get a taxpayer funded broadcaster to censor that broadcaster so that the content becomes "acceptable" to those with hypersensitivities and by those easily offended.

But do we really want our media to say what is just acceptable to a mad minority of our population?

What gives you the right to tell others what I should say or watch, or hear someone else say or watch.

We have fought wars in the past to stop this kind of fascist bullshit.

Fuck off back to Stalinist Soviet Union or book burning in Germany if you want to stop others from expressing their opinions.

Of course we could easily get around this whole problem if TVNZ was sold off to private enterprise but that aint going to happen any time soon.

I want my entertainment the way I want it, in 2010 with personality, harmless fun (boy are we missing that a little bit each day thanks to things like this) and the ability to speak and think freely without the heavy yolk of socialism (for that is what this is) weighing us down.

With that in mind lets bow out with a classic clip from Paul:

John Banks VS Len Brown

If voters learnt anything from the 9 years of the Labour Government that ended in an economic and social heap of dung, they learnt that socialism doesn't work.

It is interfering, demoralizing, it leads to social problems and perhaps more importantly to hardworking ratepayers/taxpayers, it is very expensive.

In respect to the local body elections in the race for Major for the new Auckland "Super City", voters have a choice between the two leading contenders, John Banks and Len Brown.

While John Banks is connected to the National Party and pushes their agenda of personal responsibility, business, efficiency and smaller Government (his actions belie the last part) Len Brown is another kettle of fish altogether.

Len is a socialist. Nothing wrong with that if you follow this extreme political line but it is bad news for the bulk of us who don't.

Len has for the last 3 years as Mayor, and years before that as Councillor, overseen a Manukau City Council that has raked up record debt by spending ratepayer cash on free swimming pools, cash handouts to special interest groups, koha to political friends and racial favouritism, not to mention his own personal spending on the ratepayer credit card.

For the supercity he wants to expand all this and add some really expensive toys that just don't add up financially.

He wants an Auckland wide rail system, free swimming pools for all (who pays for those again?) he wants all council business to be council controlled rather than privately owned, bigger roads, bigger parks and much, much more... in short a much bigger council.

He also want to continue what he calls positive discrimination, that is, he wants to favour Maori and Pacific Islanders by allowing them representation and input on the council without them being voted in.

I call that racist but hey that is what socialism does. It creates imbalances when it tries to make everyone the same.

Auckland voters have to make a wise decision this September.

Vote for John Banks and you will get much the same that you have got from his time as mayor of the smaller Auckland but vote for Len Brown and you will end up with a mess much the same as was left behind by the last Labour Government.

John Key's Socialist streak political weakness

Two stories from this week got me highly annoyed about my decision to vote National in the last election.

One was the provision of money to be used to insulate New Zealand homes and the other the idea from the Prime Minister to ban the over the counter sale of cold remedies that contain Pseudoephedrine.

On first look the idea that the Government pay to insulate New Zealand homes is a good one - warmer homes, less cost for heating healthy occupants and it doesn't cost them the full whack.

But hang on a sec what happened to working hard, saving the dosh and paying for it yourself?

You know, taking responsibility for your own life and keeping yourself warm.

Then the cold remedy thing really gets me steamed because I am a happy user of Pseudoephedrine products-they bloody work for me!  Banning a product that overwhelmingly gives relief for 10s of thousands of users every Winter because morons with a drug habit cant control their base urges makes little sense. These people will get their kicks whether we ban this or that anyway.

Both of these decisions from the Nats reject the proposition that they pushed before the election that individuals need to take responsibility for their actions and their lives and it seems the evil socialist streak that John Key had embedded in him as a child is coming out simply because it is politically advantageous to do so.

This is not what I voted the National Party in for. I want my fellow kiwis who can take responsibility for themselves given the ability to do so. To spoon feed us in the way these two examples above do is simply more of the same stuff we got from the previous lot and it needs to stop.

Carol Hirshfeld's naked grab for taxpayer cash!

When Carol Hirshfeld first came on the scene and when I was a much less informed lefty loser I thought she and jug ears John Campbell were the cats pajamas.

Socialism at 7 or otherwise known as Campbell Live is Left biased in the extreme, inaccurate at best and slanderous at times at its worst.

The damage they do to young impressionable minds must be horrendous.

It is no surprise that she will now work for a racist TV station, Maaoori TV, with a socialist agenda that is supported by the long suffering taxpayer.

She maybe cute and on guys list to do but boy that thin veneer hides a tainted way of thinking.

Matt McCarten tells a Whopper

We all know the left of the political sphere will do just about anything at all to make a point and Matt McCarten in the Sunday Herald is no exception:

"Warren Buffett...has claimed that capitalism as we know it is over". NZ Herald 15 March 2009

Those of us that know a little about Warren Buffett, and I know a reasonable amount about the great investor, will know that he said nothing of the sort.

In Buffett's 2008 Letter to Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders out two weeks ago he actually endorsed the American capitalist system more strongly than he ever has:

"America has had no shortage of challenges.

Without fail, however, we’ve overcome them. In the face of those obstacles – and many others – the real standard of living for Americans improved nearly seven-fold during the 1900s, while the Dow Jones Industrials rose from 66 to 11,497. Compare the record of this period with the dozens of centuries during which humans secured only tiny gains, if any, in how they lived. Though the path has not been smooth, our economic system has worked extraordinarily well over time. It has unleashed human potential as no other system has, and it will continue to do so. America’s best days lie ahead". Page 2, 2008 Berkshire Hathaway Letter.

Buffett is talking about capitalism here, no doubt about it and while acknowledging its drawbacks he also re-enforces his faith that it will bring us out of the mainly Government induced economic mess we now find ourselves in.

What McCarten has said is at best stretching the truth to breaking point and at worst an outright lie.

I lean towards the latter in describing what McCarten has written.

He uses the rest of the article to rant about his usual socialist ideals of Government control and state interference. The rest is misfired commentary on things he knows little about; economics, business, finance and probably life in general.

Steer clear.

Dipshit of the Week: Rob Fyfe

We really have a doozy this week and I am hopping mad.

CEO of failing Kiwi airline Air New Zealand, Rob Fyfe has been meddling in politics this time, giving financial advice to John Key about tax cuts.

The package is solely aimed at middle and high-income Kiwis, and Mr Fyfe says that won't help save jobs in any sector.

"You need to target your initiatives into the areas you get the best bang for your buck," says Mr Fyfe.

Fyfe wants the money to go to those who "would spend it" not those who earned it in the first place-Labour agrees of course.

This A-Grade, economy class knuckle dragger thinks our long awaited tax cuts should be ditched!

Kiwis seem to forget it is because the previous Labour Government doled out more than 1 billion of taxpayer moola to failed companies like Air New Zealand and free money to students, working for families, etc, etc that we didn't get tax cuts much earlier.

Air NZ even boasts that they still have $ 1.4 billion dollars in the bank.

It is our money!

This brain dead socialist wants taxpaying workers to forgo getting their money back just so he and other Government knukkle draggers can play Airport 2009 with our money?

Fuck off back to Stalingrad Fyfe.

Obama set to spread socialisms evil curse

It looks like the United States is moving towards electing Barack Obama on November 4.

But realists like me live in hope that this nightmare doesnt eventuate.

Forget about him being a "black" man because if you go the race way you ignore the other half of his heritage, which is Caucasian.

He is coloured if you want to go down that track and many from the left of the political sphere seem to want to revel in the nonsense that is his racial background.

If Obama is elected Americans will be electing an individual with little experience, with platitudes for policy and with an academic background, rather than any practical experience in life.

For goodness sake, writing a couple of  poorly constructed and factually fanciful books doesn't qualify you to run the most important democracy on the planet.

The largest contribution that Obama will make to the United States will be his strong Socialist streak.

As a President Obama will be focusing on bringing back big Government.

It wont happen overnight but it will creep ever so slowly across the nation.

Obama will use higher taxes for those that earn more to re-distribute to those he sees as fit to get the proceeds.

This money will be in the form of welfare; new State benefits involving housing, education, welfare for workers, hand-outs to all those that didn't earn the money in the first place.

Those of us in New Zealand know how this has affected us over the last nine years of Helen Clark's Labour Government.

We know the creeping face of Socialism and its associated welfare thrust in New Zealand has caused poverty, higher crime, poorer education outcomes, child killings and of course a disintegration of personal responsibility and a lowering of standards right across the board.

America is a proud capitalist nation and its history of democracy and freedom is at dire risk with Obama the Socialist at the helm.

That is no more apparent when it comes to his appeasement attitude to Americans natural enemies, enemies that from history have always wanted America wiped from the face of the earth and will never change that view-he wants to reason with these people, reason with madmen?!!

Nuts.

It isn't just Americas safety at risk of course when it comes to its defence security. Barack Chamberlains appeasement attitude to enemies will see that as weak and attack anyway and it puts the worlds security at risk.

To elect a man simply because you think you "need a change" or because the colour of his skin appeals to you is simply ignoring basic facts.

What about the mans substance, his record and his plan to make Socialism the centre of his administration should we be unlucky enough to have him foisted upon us by mung bean eating, Kumbya singing democrats.

Kick this faux darkie to the curb.

Green and Red make a horrible mess

Right on mark for the Greens is this cartoon from Guy Body of NZ Herald fame.

Their biggest policies are interference wrapped in a green agenda that little attention is paid to, that hides the deep red centre of communism. A perfect parliamentary partner for Labour's move from socialism to something else entirely.

A vote for these mad buggers is a vote for more of the same.

Feminist Socialists: A disease with a cure

Helen Clark and the collectivists in the current Labour Party Government are a product of the feminist/socialist movement rooted in the early 1970s. This movement had its genesis at universities across New Zealand, in the Labour Party's case it was Auckland University.

While there Helen, Michael, Goff and co went bra less, didn't shave parts of their bodies(or in some cases let it grow), protested against anything sensible, smoked dope, experimented with bi sexuality, embraced lesbianism (not that there is anything wrong with that Seinfeld would say) listened to Helen Reddy, drank beer, sometimes went to lectures, smoked dope again, and generally wasted their and everyone else's time and money.

Clark's push for Neo-Muldoonism Deja Vu all over again

While there they also fomented the centre piece and central thinking of the current Labour Governments policies.

The central core of that was a socialist/communist bent(nothing sexual of course) centered on policy to destabilise the family unit, restrict individual freedoms and make the State the centre of everything.

What we have seen over the last 9 years of Labour Party policy is a massive increase in Nanny State interference and attacks on personal freedoms.

The legalisation of prostitution-leading to the legitimisation of the act as a career path for Women.

Allowing homosexuals to marry-inherently a male/female institution.

Removal of the Privy Council -allowing judicial activism from politically appointed Supreme Court Judges.

Introduction of the Electoral Finance Act-making individuals and groups fearful of speaking out against the incumbent government.

Repeal of Section 59- the anti smacking bill made good parents criminals and allowed the State to further interfere in family life.

Working for Families-an oxymoron at best, made working families reliant on the State and led to the highest ever number of people on welfare in New Zealand's history.

Attacks on choices -of what individuals want to smoke, eat, watch and listen to and propaganda run constantly on all forms of media to brainwash the masses in feeling guilty if they made their choice to do what they wanted.

Relaxation of the definition of rape-putting innocent males accused in a worse position than a genuine rape victim and therefore lessening the importance of real rape victims.

State employees growing - a huge increase in State sector employees, leading to higher taxes increased red tape and a burden on the private sector

Increased personal tax- leading to families having to work harder and straining the "nuclear family". A deliberate intention to allow the Labour-led State to step in and take control through the Working for Families welfare package.

Interference in employment relationships-legislation passed to allow extra holidays, maternity leave, higher wages, de facto compulsory unions, crippling Kiwisaver and ACC legislation let government agencies take control of private business decisions for the first time in NZ history.

Stealing taxpayer money to buy 2005 Election- not since Watergate in the early 1970s have we seen such a political scandal in this country. NZ$824,000.00 taxpayer money illegally used (and covered up)to fund Labours 2005 election campaign and retrospective law passed to make that theft legal.

The Feminising of education-especially at the primary school level, boys have been largely sidelined to something of a curiosity. Normal rough and tumble play by boys has been hindered(bullrush has been banned!!) by feminist teachers with the same agenda as Clark and her Junta (love that word Junta) and feminist agendas have been given prominence.

The Feminist socialist agenda hatched by Ms Clark and her band of fellow travelers at Auckland University in the 1970s has changed New Zealand society, not for the better but to the detriment of our freedoms, the majority of its working citizens and former taxpaying retirees and to the societal ideal of the successful nuclear family.

This bunch of jack booted, slobbering, anti democratic carpet munchers haven't finished though and their agenda will only be completed when we start to look more like those poor souls in Sweden or the Swedish Model, on which Clark's socialist/feminist/communist model is based. The Swedes suffered under a similar regime for 65 years. That model is almost complete State control over every aspect of our lives.

Luckily though, the sensible among them have said fuck you arse holes we are taking back our lives and they have begun to turn the evil tide of socialism back.

You have a chance to turn the tide back come election day. Vote wisely my friends.

Labour's State Control out of control

In the latest grasp by Helen Clark and the sisterhood for full state control of every New Zealander we see the Government apparatus, the Children’s Commission and its head Cindy Caro make another play for the control of the nations children.

Caro has put forward a lunatic idea that every child from new-born to 15 years old will be "tracked" by the state. What that means is visits from state appointed workers who will check on the child’s "wellbeing" and make sure that you as a parent are doing what you "should be."

If the parents of a child refuse Government employee’s access to the child, the child can be removed and placed in State care!

The absurdity of the idea is a smack in the face for the majority of families who look after their children well. Targeted action on those who are actually at risk, Maori and Pacific peoples, and proper punishment for those who perpetrate crimes against children are good steps in trying to combat child violence.

State propaganda advertising other socialist nut bag legislation recently passed, the anti -smacking law has recently started. Various Z grade celebrities like Alison Mau and the lefty sniveling "I know better than you," Russell Brown, listed by himself as some kind of journalist, spank themselves silly in print on TV and radio, giving the great unwashed public the benefit of their superior knowledge on child rearing and telling you therefore that your way is wrong, wrong, wrong- insert image of a wagging finger here.

This latest attack on the family is merely the continuation of the state control that has been engineered from the inception of this socialist Labour Government when it took control of the countries finances in 1999.

The overriding focus for Labour in its 8 long years has been law passed to seize control, piece by piece of every individual’s ability to run their lives in an independent way, self sufficient and self reliant.

Labour wants us to rely on the state as much as possible.

The list of Government interference in our lives is a long one.

Labour has passed the anti-smacking bill, the thrust of this law is that parents no longer have the right to challenge or punish children for doing wrong in anyway. If they do their children will be taken away and the parents punished by child welfare agencies. Screwy huh?

Labour removed the choice of individuals to smoke in pubs and restaurants and at the same time private property rights and profits of business owners.

Labour has interfered with food in schools by making such treats as pies and chips, who all sensible people know should only be eaten sparingly.

Labour have interfered in child minding and pregnancy by introducing paid maternity leave, to be paid by taxpayers and employees thereby forcing those families who would pay for their own children’s upbringing to work longer hours to pay the increasing taxes for the scheme.

Labour’s “Working for Families” Welfare package have effectively put another 500,000 individuals on welfare and therefore at the mercy and control of those who hold the purse strings

Labour have brought Railways and Air New Zealand under the state flag and TVNZ has moved towards more state control and failed miserably.

Labour have started a State bank, “invested” millions of taxpayer dollars and have yet to get a return and never will.

I hate to “Labour” the point but the thirst for control by these individuals is monotonous in its regularity.

Along with the looney laws, we have had a mountain of Government propaganda and spin in all the media about what should: eat, smoke, read, drink and how to raise our children and what our families should look like. We are constantly bombarded with these messages to the point that the more gullible and moronic amongst us start to believe what they see, read and hear.

Stalin and Hitler used these same forms of Government spin to get their message across. We are not at this point yet but follow the story of the last 8 years to its logical end.

While all the energy by this government being put into making New Zealand a nanny state is wasted, this countries economy, education, health slides further and further towards oblivion.

The trouble with all this finger wagging and State control is that its logical conclusion would be a state employee following every individual around constantly telling them what to and what not to do. Think that this can’t happen?

The undercurrent and aim of this Socialist Labour Government is to have effective control of everything that an individual does. Private enterprise and self reliance is an anathema to them and not to be encouraged at all, we only have to look at their attack on John Key and his success in life to see where this filthy lot are coming from.

The ultimate in socialist control and for the reigns of power to be held in their hands in perpetuity, is the Electoral Finance Bill, which would, if passed, allow the incumbent to spend taxpayers money promoting government legislation to buy an election while opposing groups to government will be restricted to $60000.00 and not be allowed to criticize government in an election year.

These pigs in the taxpayer trough must be stopped before they end up in bed next to us.

That is a scary thought.

Pointing Fingers in the Playground

Growing up in small town, Hastings, New Zealand during the 1970s I was an average boy from a poor family, in spirit and financial acuity, who didn't really aspire to anything above my position in life. Sure, I dreamed of getting out of the life I found myself born to and found an inspiration in my otherwise hopeless Father, in that he worked hard and did his best to provide for his family. I inherited his resounding spirit of working hard for a living and along with my Mothers ability to make my Dads meager wages stretch further than Jonah Lomu could run, I have managed to do quite well in life.

It is often ,as one starts out in life, that ones social outlook on life is formed. The fact you might be born into a certain family background and have particular experiences because of that background can shape how one makes decisions latter on in life and ones general view on how things should be. A political view if you like.

Hopefully one is not stuck in that mold for life though. As an individual grows he becomes more independent and wants to make "his own way in life".

I remember, especially growing up during my High School Years at Hastings Boys, how if you had a talent, especially an academic one, that it was derided and considered negative if you did well at it.

I excelled at an early age in Economics. My home life afforded me the ability to work out that if you could understand how to work hard and save your money, you would be able to get yourself out of the working class background that you found yourself born to.

My school mates however found that continuing to come first in class in Economics wasn't something that was positive at all, in fact I was given hell for excelling at a subject that I loved and understood very well. Collectively bullying an individuals success was the programmed response. Welcome to the New Zealand Socialist grounded, knocking machine!

In places like the United States achieving such a feat was celebrated and you were set apart from your peers because you had worked hard and done well. In New Zealand the Socialist knocking machine didn't allow for you to stand out from your peers for doing well. Those that did better than the average were always treated by others badly because clearly there was a pervading jealousy that came out in them as their efforts never quite got them there.

The answer was to pull achievers down to their level.

Nothing much has changed today. The great Kiwi Socialist knocking machine has reared its ugly head in the New Zealand Parliament. Ever since John Key popped his head above the parapet and became leader of the Opposition his success in life has become the stuff of derision , envy, jealousy and avarice from the Labour Government.

At no time has this vindictive, nasty, cancerous attitude towards individual success been more apparent than during the last few weeks in the house.

Helen Clarke and her "House-Yard" bullies have been braying and knocking at John Key simply because of the achievements he has made during his very distinguished career in the finance industry. He has educated himself at University, worked hard in his chosen career and made allot of money. Something to be looked up to one would think?

Not in this country and certainly not by those in the Labour Government.

John Key grew up in from very humble beginnings coming from a poor background and working hard to achieve in life.

His position therefore in a political party in opposition to a Socialist, collective, Labour Government is an anathema to Helen Clarke and her comrades. Ironically Clarke is from a privileged farming background and learnt her socialist ways from the theories expounded from communist dictum's read at Auckland University. John Key grew up with a socialist background and managed to break free from the socialist collectivism that restrains individuals from being themselves. Helen Clarke and Micheal Cullen learnt at Auckland University in the 1970s to do the very opposite.

It is from this perspective of a "everyone is equal" collective ideal and theory learnt at University that Labour has attacked John Keys individual achievements in life and every piece of policy and thinking coming from Labour sets out to stifle individuality, achievement and the possibility that ones endeavours could put them in the spotlight because they have worked hard and their efforts have put them in a position that should be admired rather than derided and chided by those either too lazy or not talented enough to want to stand out from the crowd.

In fact mediocrity and laziness is rewarded by Labour. Two glaring examples , High School pupils get passes in subjects at school for picking up litter and unmarried mothers get welfare from taxpayers to have children.

Incidentally in Labours efforts to fashion New Zealanders as "equal" and have "equal opportunity of outcomes" the same collective missives don't apply to those that deem themselves worthy that they know best, have New Zealanders best interests at heart and are doing for the collective Kiwi nation what is best for them. That is Socialism at work though. The anointed deem themselves as above the very collective Socialist ideal that they wish for us and the epitome of this is evidenced in the arrogant and high handed manner of Helen Clarke in her attitude that would have her careen dangerously through a country town at high speed in her Limousine but would have an average member of the public lose their license and end up in court and Clarke seeing nothing wrong with that scenario at all. Telling lies to cover up what really happened was the means to make this episode look more palatable to the proletariat of course.

The bullying of John Key and his background and life achievements, in and outside the house, from the likes of Helen Clarke, Micheal Cullen, Trevor Mallard and Phil Goff reeks of envy and jealousy of the kind children would have when they see a child in the playground with a new bike. Rather than a base attitude that would have the collective playground pointing the finger at the individual on the new bike and making fun the collective should be asking themselves individually what one must do to get a shiny new bike for themselves !

What we are seeing in action at present is that John Key is a threat to Labours very core belief that the way for society to progress is for us all to move forward as a group, no one putting their head up , nobody really excelling. Key is a figure of success from a poor background that the majority of the Labour government have not experienced themselves and only read about in books at University.

He has managed, through hard work and obvious talent, to break away. John Key embodies everything that Labour hate. Individualism, capitalism, hard work and ambition to do better and most of all to be rewarded for doing so and they know this trait is latent in every individual .

John Key and successful individuals like him are role models to look up to rather than deride and be the butt of jealousy, envy and pure vindictive Socialist nastiness. The promise that he shows and the threat that he poses to the ideals and Socialist Fauvism that the Labour Government are wedded to, make him the target of their scorn. He encapsulates all that Labour believe should discouraged in society; a good role model to look up to , aspire to be like and be proud to lead a country towards social, moral and financial prosperity through individual pursuit and reward.

In him they can see the individual they would have liked to have been themselves and the possibility of him as Prime Minister in 2008 have them apoplectic with rage for they see in him their collective grip of a South Pacific Socialist Republic of Aotearoa slipping away day by day.

That is Labours agenda for us should they get another 3 years.

The alternative, while not perfect, is the possibility that New Zealanders may finally be free to make decisions for themselves, be responsible for their own lives and most importantly be rewarded for their efforts and achievements.

Labours Socialist Peril

We are just over a year from probably one of New Zealands most important elections in generations. Important because we currently have a party in power that have us doomed and heading towards a socialist utopia(theirs)that would have Helen Clark and her merry band of brothers and sisters and their Labour Party telling its citizens exactly what they should be doing.

Complete control of New Zealand by an elitist bunch of individuals who have an agenda of turning the "Swedish Model" of socialism that they aspire New Zealand to have into some sort of Stalinist, Maoist, Clarkist, Fascist, South Pacific 1930s Germany.

Some of us have learnt from history how socialism didn't work and we also know from history that socialism will never work in the present or is good for our countries future. Micheal Cullen, the Dr of History, should take on board the lessons that his craft has taught him. If you ignore history you are doomed to repeat the same mistakes.

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of an idea, thought or in Labour's case their socialist agenda, that clearly makes that idea a redundant one. Are you listening Micheal!

Let us canvas briefly Labours last 8 years in office. We must all continue to be reminded as to what this group of angry, vindictive, nasty individuals have foisted on New Zealand and some of the crimes against our freedoms that have been imposed upon us.

Without a doubt the biggest blot on our countries freedom has been the rights of parents and their right to parent as they see fit.

Removal of the right of a parent to smack a child if he puts himself in danger or the parent has no other recourse for punishment would be funny if it wasn't so serious. Like Labour's removal of physical punishment in schools during the 1980s, sensible practical people all know where this has led schools to in the present day. Pupils now run classes and are allowed to swear, be unruly and hit teachers and pupils without consequence. Removal of the threat of physical punishment in schools has led to more violence, not less as the left would have you believe.

The same reason has been given for the removal of the rights of a parent to lightly smack a child, that is, to prevent violence. If you learn from history and common sense we all know that is going to happen. Learn from history Labour.

The nanny state has also been busy telling us what we should eat, drink, smoke ,say and think and at the same time using taxpayers money in a Stalinist way to "educate" the masses, using TV, Newspapers and other media to brainwash Kiwis into thinking that the bizarre is normal. It wont be long before the government is running supermarkets and pumping gas!!

The attack on the Family through legislation to make same sex "marriage" normal for homosexuals and lesbians is part of the sustained attack by Labour's "Rainbow Youth" section and the continued striving by them to make Government mandated same sex relationships a legitimate thing. Us Heteros don't want Government meddling in our relationships why would the queer folk want the same?

The legitimisation of prostitution by Labour legislation its no surprise. Minister Phil Goff's proposal that the age of consent be brought down to 12 gives the public an idea as to what Phil and his comrades have in store for us should they continue to hold the reins of power going forward.

The loose morals and low standards of Labour's leader, Helen Clarke, have not only pervaded its parties policies and law making but have clearly been evident in Clarke's colleagues actions and attitudes.

From the top down we can see a litany of lies, deceit and subterfuge not seen since Richard Nixon took office in the United States.

Helen Clarke has been caught out lying several times; falsely signing paintings, professing not to know what was happening around her as her Ministerial car sped through a 50KM zone at 170KM(yeah right!)so she could get to a Rugby game and a long list of other fibs and spins including the stealing of 850,000 dollars of taxpayer money to buy the 2005 election and then the passing of a law under urgency to legitimise this theft. Something tricky dicky would be proud of and incidentally something he was impeached and sacked for.

We had drop kick lefties like Chris Trotter coming out in their newspaper columns saying that the theft was legitimate and if the means to this end was to deny National its place in Government, theft and lying was acceptable.

Clarke's Minister David Benson Pope has been caught out lying twice, that we know of. He lied to Parliament twice during the great tennis ball incident and the recent case of the sacking by him of Madeline Setchel, then repeated the lies to media.

We also had the case just before the 2005 election of Phillip Field, where there is clear evidence he has been found to be taking bribes from his electorate and using slave Labour in Samoa to get houses he owns renovated. This was apparent before the 2005 election but our largely leftist mainstream media were more interested in the non-story of National and the money coming from a religious group.

Chris Trotter and his media ilk ignored the cover-up of the Phillip Field scandal because if Field had lost his electorate of Mangere then Labour would have been outski in 2005. David Lange would be spinning in his grave!!

We also had one of Clarke's Ministers caught drunk behind the wheel while Minister for ACC and a Minister who was illegitimately claiming expenses for living in taxpayer funded accommodation and a long, long list of other sleaze, spin and lies too long to list in this brief article.

Let us not forget the mishandling of our economy my Micheal Cullen and his social misfits. During a time when all economic factors conspired to give us the best economic conditions we have had in generations the best the economy could do was 3.5% growth.

Cullen has squandered that growth by taxing the life out of its citizens ,while at the same time on such a reckless Government spending spree that bureaucrats have increased by more that 30% in 8 years.

Dr Cullen has milked the middleclases of its hard earned wealth filtered it through Government lackeys and "given" it back through Welfare benefits, through "Working for Families" and other nutcase socialist schemes. Never before in our history have New Zealanders had so many people reliant on the State(other taxpayers)through welfare.

Probably the epitome of ridiculousness was the 2005 election bribe of free student loans. Dr Cullen's theory that if there is no interest on student loans and that students therefore will pay back loans quicker defies even the logic of a sane man. This collective individual (an oxymoron if I ever heard one)is in charge of the taxpayers purse strings. Remember though he is going to have another go at bribing you again with your own money in 2008.

Cullen's high taxes, amongst the highest in the world, is clearly killing the economy. Not only are his high taxes and proliferate spending putting a nail through business and productivity but they have given rise to the highest interest rates in the developed world. Our dairy farmers have little to do with the rising dollar, it has more to do with Dr Cullen's out of control spend and tax regime. Socialism at work!!

Now I could continue to trot out acre after acre of prose about the nasty, vindictive, morally corrupt lot that call themselves our leaders but I want to leave that up to you to comment on. For or against.

What we must not forget though is the attacks by our Government on our freedoms our pockets our minds our consciences and the socialist agenda that is wrapped around it are set to continue unabated if this swine get elected again in 2008.

It is up to you to remember what the ultimate in socialism did to Stalinist Russia.

Millions perished.
