Kristen Dunne-Powell deserves a media beating

I am currently listening to Tony Veitch on Newstalk ZB being interviewed by Susan Wood.

If his account of the kick in the back was true Kristen Dunne-Powell deserved everything she got.

According to Veitch she was in effect stalking him, wouldn't let go after he dumped her and she put herself physically in his way to stop him from leaving a bedroom-he kicked her in frustration.

He shouldn't have kicked her but the hell she put him through before the assault looks to have pressured Veitch to the point of breaking.

She then pretty much did nothing about the incident until five weeks before Veitch was due to be married and then, through her lawyers extorted more than $150,000.00 off him and promised to keep silent in return.

She then released detail to the media, then through her lawyers and PR spokes people has spent the next year assaulting his character.

Sounds like a spiteful, vengeful, media hungry bitch with an axe to grind to me.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned huh .

Veitch was cleared of serious assault charges today.

Tony Veitch cleared of all serious accusations

So Tony Veitch has just pleaded guilty to "reckless disregard causing injury" and 6 serious assault charges have been dropped.

What this means in effect is that there was insufficient evidence to prove assault and Veitch has pleaded to this non charge to bring the whole thing to a head rather than wait for another 2 years to get his day in court.

Former girlfriend Kristin Dunne-Powell who brought the charges, along with a police force publicly out to get him have got what they wanted though; his name dragged through the courts and his reputation, whatever that was, tarnished beyond repair.

Dunne-Powell has clearly got egg on her face and it would be nice for the mainstream media to attack her in the way they went after him.

I seriously doubt it will happen though.

Anti PC Hero: Murray Deaker

I have started a regular series called Dipshit of the Week and realise it is negative. The two previous winners of that were Greenpeace and Bob Harvey.

Many of the dipshit awards will be for PC nonsense.

This first in a positive series of Anti PC Hero will be awarded by my good self for individuals and groups who go beyond the call of duty, in the face of unpopularity, with the mung bean eating, tree hugging, whale loving, hairy arm pitted, homo/Lesbian, Maaaori worshipping, Labour/Green voting, kaftan wearing, chardonnay drinking, Prius driving, Global Warming loving, Al Gore types, who try to wipe the floor with their own form of Anit-PC Wet and Forget.

The inaugural winner is Murray Deaker, for risking the ire of his fellow broadcasters and those in the media who will give him hell over the next few weeks for employing Tony Veitch on one of his Sky TV sports shows this Wednesday.

What Veitch did or did not do certainly didn't deserve the treatment he has been handed out by his former employer TVNZ ,the rest of the PC media and the chromosome defficient Ugly Wimins movement.

I'm no big fan of his, I think he is a brain dead moron, but he deserves to work and Deaker is a pure saint for allowing him to.

Tony Veitch and Fox stories cunning diversions

Although muck raking by the Labour Party has become something of an art form of late, and will no doubt become something of a masterpiece as the 2008 Election draws nearer, the distribution of news of the latest "wife-beating" scandal to hit New Zealand, Derek "The Muss" Fox, after Tony"left handed" Veitch, by a Labour staffer seems more of an inside job within the racist Maori Party, rather than another hole being dug by Ms Clark and her minions.

Besides the bloated porker Parekura "I want another sandwich" Horomia being threatened by Derek "I hate whitey" Fox and his running against Labour's Horomia, Labour has little else to gain by making this sort of move.

I could be wrong though, Labour have been on a suicide mission recently with bad news coming out every day from gaffs by ministers and bureaucrats. Only the Tony Veitch and Derek Fox stories have taken Ms Clark's crumbling goverment off the headlines as mainstream media "journalists" scramble for the salacious stuff.

These stories are indeed well timed and if one were a conspiracy nutbag, one might think of other motivations for people currently in power to leak these kinds of headline grabbing sagas.

It is classic Labour Party stuff.
