Magnum Farce

Dick of the week is Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Pizzini, a member of the South Auckland Police who has charged an individual for defending himself in another liquor store hold-up:

Pizzini said the arrest serves a reminder to all that taking the law into their own hands in some circumstances can not be justified.

"Shop keepers and the general public can be reassured that the police will respond with urgency to situations where assistance is needed.

"Ring 111, observe what is happening and let police deal with these situations," Mr Pizzini added.

It continues the same vein of politically correct policing that we have seen in a number of similar cases over the last few years that has led to the death of members of the public and police, arrests for victims defending themselves and a consequent increase in this type of crime.

A copycat attack this evening where a lotto shop owner is now in a serious condition is no surprise given the nonsense from moronic cops like Pizzini, and there will be more.

Political pressure on police hierarchy from the Police Minister and Helen Clark to go easy on what is Labour's voter base-the majority of these crimes have occurred in Labour's South Auckland-doesn't seem far from reality.

New Zealand's PC police constables need to be directed by the Commissioner to police instead of being involved in PC nonsense like this.

We are in danger if we cant defend ourselves, and we are increasingly having to because police often don't come in time when called, if they bother to come at all.

It is political and can be blamed on a Labour Government who want to go easy on criminals and make it tough for the ordinary kiwi-as they do in every other government department they use to lord over the populace.

Darkness at the edge of Labour's South Auckland

Further proof that Labour's great social welfare experiment,South Auckland, is crumbling. It seems bizarre given things like this and record crime voters in South Auckland will probably vote Labour back in again:

Private security patrols to boost understaffed police could cost Manukau city ratepayers more than $3 million a year.

A proposal for three teams of five guards "to be deployed across the city on a 24-hour, seven-day basis" is being discussed at today’s policy and activities committee meeting.

Community safety portfolio leader Dick Quax says it’s a response to community pressure for "greater safety measures" in the wake of several high-
profile violent crimes.

Their activities include patrolling town centres on foot or the streets in vehicles, providing a security presence for private and community events, and targeting anti-social behaviour, drunkenness, disorder and drink driving.

The main culprit is of course welfare, years of it, and with manifold increases in payments over the last 9 years there are "no-go" areas in South Auckland where you would want to don some Kevlar before entering.

Go ahead, make my Day

PC used to mean a big burly strong, tall, male Police Constable not politically correct.

The shooting of an Indian dairy owner by some low life Polynesians last weekend continued the PC garbage image of the police.

Instead of going in with guns immediately and shooting the bugger dead we have an innocent victim six feet under instead.

"Police protocol" apparently had to be followed and 30 minutes after the first call to the boys in blue they arrived. About 25 minutes too late.

This kind of nonsense was also followed after the Kahui slayings and when the young wild man Wallace went on a rampage with golf clubs and baseball bats and was rightly shot for his troubles before he injured or killed an innocent victim.

The constable who shot him was wrongly vilified by the criminal's family and the police gave him little backing.

The problem isn't the cops on the beat as such, but their political masters, the Labour Party, who have hamstrung the cops to such an extent they are too scared to do their duty-protect and serve the public.

When an excuse is made by the cops in the latest incident, that they wanted to make sure it was safe for them before they entered the dairy then you know you have a big problem. What about keeping the public safe, it is your job!!

It is time the head of the Police, Howard Broad, stepped down from his position because of the failure he clearly is. Appointed by Helen Clark herself, this man has been guilty of manipulating young constables in the past, not to breath test him after being found drunk at the wheel of his car. He is a disgrace and so is Clark for appointing him. She knew he was a drunk driver.

What we need is a Dirty Harry rather than a Deborah Harry at the top. New Zealanders are sick of being victims and it is time we took back the streets, in South Auckland and other desolate parts of the country.

Instead of reporting to base after a shooting to get approval to use guns, make sure their hair is parted on the left and their pants are not too tight and put innocent lives at risk, all we need is a Clint Eastwood to answer a victim's call with a few succinct sounds.

BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG.

We know what the alternative is and it is unacceptable to most of us.
